Josh started Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness in 2016. Josh is a life long health and fitness enthusiast and passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals through personal training. Strength training has been his focus for over 12 years.
Josh enjoys the outdoors, if he is not at the gym, his second favorite place to be is on the water in his boat. He enjoys biking, hiking, camping and spending time with his loved ones.
He has taught Strength Training and Equipment 101.
Heidi Tate has been with Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness for over seven years. Her love of teaching carries throughout being a grade school teacher for many years. For the last few years, she has switched gears and opened Cashe Liquidation, here in Molalla.
She loves to encourage others to be their best, meeting them at their current fitness abilities and helping them to enjoy the SWEAT! Her main love in fitness is dance. Heidi holds the following certifications: Zumba, PIYO Live, Schwinn Cycling.
She is currently teaching Danze Fitness.
Tami has loved fitness since her freshman year of high school. Since then, she has gained a vast appreciation for all types of exercise such as PIYO, Strength Training, Zumba and Boot Camp.
Tami started instructing kickboxing January 2018. She is very passionate and believes that success for anyone is all about drive, desire, hard work, dedication and sacrifice - but for her, it’s also been about faith. She also enjoys camping, boating, hiking and activities that includes health and family.
Tami is currently teaching: Cardio Kickboxing, Core & More, Tone-Tastic and Cycle, lift it drop it!
Nancy has been an active member of Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness for a little more than eight years. Throughout her fitness journey, she has accomplished many things. She has ran multiple 5K, 8K, 10K and 15K races. She has battled many boot camps, and has maintained her fitness goals.
Along her way, she found her passion for dance and was inspired to become an instructor. Nancy holds the following certifications: Zumba and Senior group Fitness.
Nancy is currently teaching Senior Fit.
Rebecca knew she loved to work with people early on in life. Making connections and helping them reach their goals. She strives to bring that element to her classes. Rebecca has been in the fitness industry for over 6 years and also instructs at the Molalla Aquatic Center.
Rebecca holds the following fitness certifications: *Zumba *aqua Zumba *Zumba Gold *Zumba Kids *Kids Jr. *Group Fitness *Boot Camp * Senior Group Fitness.
Here at MCEF she teaches Zumba Intro, Senior Fit and Cirlce Mobility.
Karen has enjoyed outdoor activities since she was a young girl. Starting at the young age of 19 years old, Karen grew to love Group Fitness and Personal Training, which became a lifelong passion of hers.
Her Personal Training sessions and Group Fitness classes have a unique style of visual imagery and motivational coaching to keep you driving yourself towards a healthier life. She loves to enlighten and educate people on their bodies and watch their lives change with her guidance and positive motivation.
Karen's Certifications include: Personal Training, Group Fitness, Nutrition, CPR and AED, Anatomy, Kinesiology. AFFA, NASM, ACE, Yoga Works, Yoga Fit, PFP, Kick Box Fitness, Madd Dog Athletic Spinning, Schwin, Aqua Fit and so many more!
Karen is currently teaching: Senior Fit, Equipment 101 and is a Personal Training at Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness.
Shawna found her love for teaching at Cutting Edge Fitness. Throughout her life, she has always loved being active. During the last 5 years at the gym, she has strived to learn as much as she can to help others, as well as herself. She has always said and heard from others, ‘Remember this is not a race, but a journey.” Shawna’s favorite saying is, ‘YOU GOT THIS!’
Teaching others new and fun things you can do with fitness is something she loves to do. She believes that fitness is not just for your appearance and physical health, but also helps your soul along the way. Mental health is just as important as physical health. What drew her to fitness more than anything was there is so much you can do; you could never really get bored.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends on new adventures. Dancing is one of her all-time favorite things to do. She also enjoys biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, camping, and kayaking. She loves the outdoors! Stephanie has actively participated in team sports and outdoor activities since early adolescence. Her passion for coaching started while proudly serving as the Varsity Women's High School goalie and going on to coach high school Girls' Soccer. She also enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, golf, and playing adult community sports like coed softball.
Stephanie has inspired many to seek support in pursuing a fit and healthier lifestyle. Her interest in weight training became a major passion, inspiring her to compete in her very first Figure bodybuilding competition in 2017 and is currently shaping up to challenge herself in a comeback in 2026. Through the presence of a personal trainer early on in her life, she was inspired to pursue her passion for fitness and supporting others through personal training and supportive accountability.
Stephanie’s commitment to her profession is evident in her continuous learning and professional development. She has completed her Personal Training Certification and is pursuing additional certifications in Nutrition, Corrective Exercise, and Physique and Bodybuilding Coaching.
She is currently teaching Body Rebuild and is a Personal Training at Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness.
Jackie has been practicing yoga for 9 years and teaching for 1 year. A year ago, she decided to leave a 20 year career in healthcare to follow her dream and pursue her passion for yoga.
Her yoga style teaches functional movement focused on helping with mobility and strengthening, coming inside yourself and moving only in the ways that feel good to you.
She loves to take everyday movements we make, for example getting up and down off the floor, and incorporating those movements into yoga to help with muscle memory so we can stay strong for our everyday lives.
When she is not teaching, she can be found in the woods or by the river with her family or diving into one of her many hobbies. Her two stepson also keep her busy with sports and activities.
She is currently teach Yoga at Molalla Cutting Edge Fitness.
